There was only one: Genesis.
However, some people (especially Heroes Wiki, at least originally - I
notice they don't do this any more) divide S1 into parts based on the
catch phrase from the ads. Thus:
Episodes 1 - 5 = "Ordinary People Discovering Extraordinary Abilities".
Episodes 6 - 11 = "Save The Cheerleader, Save the World".
Episodes 12 - 18 = "Are You On The List?".
Episodes 19 - 23 = "It's Time to Save the World".
Of course, these are not "official" volumes...they are a convenient
means to group the episodes.
